Unified Games/Special Olympics Huge Success

Over two hundred and fifty students with disabilities and their regular education partners participated in the first Unified Special Olympics hosted by Edgefield County School District. Unified Physical Education classes pair students with disabilities with regular education students throughout the year. “Having a unified Olympics was just the logical progression. Both groups benefitted so much from the experience,” explained Ann Marie Taylor, ECSD Office of Exceptional Children Director.  More Information

’18-’19 On-line Registration for Returning Edgefield County Students

Parents and guardians have embraced the district’s on-line registration process. “It’s convenient and much easier the second time you complete it,” said Hope Jernigan, parent. If you currently have a child enrolled in an Edgefield County School, you will be receiving an informational letter with instructions on how to register your child online for the 2018-2019 school year. More Information
